Donal is the Portfolio Coach responsible for enabling multiple wide/scale organizational transformations to Lean-Agile principles, practices and structures. He advises key executives and senior portfolio leaders for cultivating an Agile organization. He develops a lean-Agile transformation strategy and supporting its execution including the mentoring of organizational Agile Coaches and serves at the Lean-Agile subject matter expert for the organization.
• Mentors Executive leaders to embrace, model and foster a culture of lean thinking.
• Educates leaders and facilitates outcome-based planning and definition of KPIs.
• Facilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution within the executive teams to increase their adoption.
• Establishes the process and structure for Lean Portfolio management to align strategy and execution.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the lean-Agile frameworks along with industry and technology experience to assess organization’s maturity and recommend, establish, and ensure consistency in practices across the organization.
• Established and leading the Agile Centers of Excellence necessary to take Lean-Agile practices across the organizations and their enterprises.
• Provides feedback to executive leaders regarding their progress of Agile adoption for their organization.
• Hands-on individualized training/coaching to executive leaders on Agile transformation strategy best practices.
• Guides the development of the Agile operating model including product and value stream definition based on business value, and alignment of teams to optimize flow and reduce dependencies.
