From 1997 to 2006, I developed server and client software for PC communication services for a major Japanese telecommunications company. Then, from 2007 to 2011, I worked on designing and developing robust systems that tolerate failures in credit payment processors. From 2012 to 2019, I developed social games for a gaming company and became CTO in 2016. In 2020, I joined WOVN Technologies, Inc. as a CPO and grew a SaaS for localizing anything such as Web services, Smartphone Apps, Videos, etc.
I love programming the most. When working for a credit card processor, the most exciting moment of my life was when I built and released a payment system myself for 2 thousand dollars that would have cost over 2 million dollars if outsourced. However, I realized afterward that there was nothing I could do to actively improve product development unless I took responsibility not only for designing and developing software but also for the organization that makes it and the experience of its customers.
If you can read Japanese, searching for my name on the Internet will reveal several articles about my experience and areas of expertise.
