Many successful ideas, frameworks, and patterns are born from specific organizations, shaped by their unique cultures and environments. Applying them elsewhere without considering these factors can lead to misalignment and failure.
Satya Nadella, who led Microsoft’s transformation from a $300 billion company to a $3 trillion powerhouse, credits much of this success to his focus on managing and reshaping the company’s culture. His understanding of the corporate culture he sought to evolve was central to Microsoft’s growth.
