Doing a LeSS Flip in two months (A TURBO LeSS Adoption At Greenflux)

This session will be presented by Wouter Horsman & Roland Flemm

In November 2024 we were in touch for the first time with the Head of Product (HOP) and Head of Engineering (HOE) of Greenflux, a software product company in the Electronic VEhicle (EV) Charging market. It took four months to get the green light from the German MDs and finally start in February 2025.

The HOP and HOE both have visited numerous LeSS meetups and did their homework: They created a Target Operating Model showing the contours of a LeSS configuration with three Requirement Areas.

We embarked on the transformation journey that would have the Flip faster than the time we needed to win the deal. We started the preparations in the first week of february in 2025, and ambition was to flip R&D in two months later, on April 1st.

Setting up for disaster?

We want to give you a status update on the LeSS conference in October, which will be seven months after the TURBO-Flip.

In this talk we will touch upon the following questions:
Is it possible to create a sustainable change in such short amount of time?
Which corners did we cut?
Why did we choose to stick to the plan to flip so fast?
What could have gone differently if we would have taken more time?
Was it a success?
Do we recommend this approach?
